HOW YOU CAN HELP

To help us reach a fair contract and maintain high journalistic standards in The Chronicle Herald newsroom, here's what you can do:

1. If you subscribe to The Chronicle Herald, one of its products, or get its free flyer packages, please call 902-426-3031 and cancel until we reach a deal.

The Herald publishes the Dartmouth Tribune, Halifax Citizen, Bedford-Sackville Observer, South Shore Breaker, Valley Harvester and Antigonish Casket.

2. Donate to our strike fund; our mailing address is P.O. Box 8064, Halifax, N.S., B3K 5L8, or donate to our news site LocalXpress.ca in U.S. dollars via Patreon, here.

3. Check out our list of current Herald advertisers whom we, our supporters and Nova Scotia Federation of Labour members are boycotting to pressure the company to reach a fair deal.

4. Call the Herald at 426-2811 and contact general manager Ian Scott ([email protected]) or VP, administration Nancy Cook ([email protected]) and tell them to reach a fair deal with us.

5. Follow us and share our posts on social media, @HTU_official on Twitter here, Halifax Typographical Union on Facebook here, and read and share our quality journalism on www.LocalXpress.ca.

6. Decline interview requests from The Chronicle Herald and its related publications.

Thank you.
